Sir Thomas Sopworth yacht on Sydney Harbour. Designed by renowned naval architect Robert Clark, Sir Thomas Sopwith was originally constructed in Falmouth, UK, for the Ocean Youth Club. Launched in 1974, it was bequeathed to the Trust by the famous British aviator and America’s Cup yachtsman, Sir Thomas Sopwith.
Sir Thomas Sopwith was transformed into a classicallystyled, luxurious yacht with true ocean-going pedigree and modern cruising amenities, meeting and exceeding commercial survey standards.
